older) that are available through the May Templeton Hopper Fund administered by

elderly to “age in place” at home and in our community.
The PIN grant at Project Dana is in its 4th year. Assistance is offered through services which are already being offered in 3
specific areas: home safety, transportation and respite. Applications are being
accepted through October 2012.
Brief explanation of services are:
Home Safety:
Free home safety/fall prevention assessment is offered and funds may be
available for those who qualify for safety services such as shower chairs,
toilet and bed safety rails, installed grab bars, railing for steps, and other
safety devices.
Transportation:
Transportation assistance is available to frail elders for medical appointments,
shopping requests and legal services like banking, federal, state, city and
county offices. Your safety and well being are of concern regarding
transportation needs. Funds for taxi fares may be offered for special medical
